Spring is around the corner and nature’s renewal will soon be in bloom and all a buzz.  There is a new spring buzz in the air in Maryland and it is all about RTGX and bwtech@UMBC’s Research Park.  RTGX is part of the new technology energy and small cadre of technology cyber focused enterprises planting roots at the visionary business complex adjacent to one of our nation’s leaders in education.
RTGX’s design and construction team are busy at work building the new RTGX facilities located at UMBC’s Research Park bwtech@UMBC. As one of the few mid size small businesses locating at the now almost fully leased facilities there is quite a bit of buzz and press surrounding RTGX’s move.

The new facilities are designed to increase research, collaboration and a sense of space with light filled rooms. The interior design includes renewable materials in keeping with RTGX’s increased focus in Green Technologies. In countless press and media inquiries to RTGX Founders the question is what does the move mean to RTGX and how does it play into the region’s economy? Simply put, UMBC is at the forefront of technology education and research. UMBC is in the back yard of some of the largest consumers of cyber technology and cyber related intelligence, the region has every reason to be the nation’s cyber leader and with the right investments and access to fresh thinking and intellectual knowledge could create the cyber versions of Facebook, Twitter and Apple whom all creations in part of robust University environments with access to unrestricted innovation and the necessary capital to foster growth. RTGX plans to tap into UMBC’s well of talent.
