RTGX’s Founder and Executive Vice President has been invited to speak on entrepreneurship for K&G Fashion Superstore’s Mind, Body and Soul Mentoring seminar series. The initiative was launched in March of 2011. On May 21, 2011 at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum in Baltimore K&G will host another event designed to provide Baltimore youth with access to mentors and key note addresses from professional men from the worlds of sports, media, business and Government. The goal of the series is to provide young men with information on how to successfully present themselves and dress for success as well as access to role models representing many different professions. As part of the event the attendees will be eligible to win a free suit or tuxedo courtesy of K&G Fashion Superstore. The company hopes to give away over $1 million in K&G instant rewards and gift certificates as part of the total mentoring campaign.

RTGX has long been a supporter of mentoring at risk youth as well as young people in general. The company continues to expand the scope and structure of its own mentoring program for young women launched 3 years ago. The company and its employees has also launched a pilot mentoring program structured around High School students with an interest in technology and demonstrated self initiative and aptitude. The pilot program provides sponsorship, tools and support for selected technology based business plans submitted by students. The business plans are evaluated for structure, marketing plan, market research, cost and vision. The selected student business plan is sponsored for proof of concept development by RTGX and receives mentoring support and technical guidance from RTGX employees. RTGX is also a supporter of Greater Baltimore Cares, an IRS 501 (c) charitable foundation focused on mentoring initiatives in support of our most vulnerable youth.

RTGX strongly believes that the next generation of leaders and innovators are in our community in the form of young people from all walks of life. Young people from underserved communities are an untapped and overlooked segment of our community. They receive little access to internships and opportunities to expand their horizons. They to are in dire need of support, inspiration and access to knowledge that will hopefully encourage them to excel in school, further their education and fulfill their dreams.

RTGX applauds K&G Fashion Superstore for their innovative approach to giving back to our community and making a difference.
