Many studies talk about the soothing effect of cool blue waters, and the rainbow of colors we typically find in Caribbean waters have on humans. Surely one reason so many flock to beaches worldwide during their time off. Vaastu and Fengshui advocate having an aquarium in home and or office interiors. Vaastu and Fengshui each espouse the benefits of the five earthly elements, one of which is water. It is also said that water promotes positive energy, tranquility and harmony. All of the soothing effects of water are excellent positive forces that can expand one’s imagination and increase productivity and creativity.

We definitely wanted the benefits of harmony, tranquility and tons of positive energy flowing through our workspace. So we eliminated the traditional sea of fabric covered cubicles in the design of our new space and we also brought in the sea in the form of one of the newest innovations in aquariums. When our employees and customers need harmony, tranquility and positive energy we hope they will get some of what they need while in our spaces. Our new age aquarium will float between the floor and ceiling in our main conference room. The aquarium will be seen from inside or outside the conference room, as it will be suspended in front of a large glass wall. The tank has a thin profile and holds about 73 gallons of water. In addition to the thin profile another cool feature is that all of the filtration and other equipment needed to support the aquarium are hidden away.
